This task involves the design of the interior of the new library within a building already under construction and within the remit of an integrated programme.
The project concerns the re-definition of the distributive and functional lay-out, the choice of internal fittings, the design of the made to measure furniture and the orientation of choice of the means of production.
It consists of a library with open shelves, which, as well as its traditional sections, has a specific area for children,  and other special areas, including an independent multifunction room, an Internet area, and the inter-branch library system offices.
The entrance is distinguished by the reception desk and informal easy chairs for the newspaper library section.
The library occupies an area of about 2,800 square metres. A “domestic” impression was the theme behind the choice of simple yet essential furniture,  capable of balancing the sometimes out-of-scale effect that large scale spaces can  generate.
